Sharron Helen Neal's Obituary
Sharron Helen Neal, age 83, passed away on September 16, 2020 at her residence in Muskegon. Sharron was born in Rochester, Michigan on November 20, 1936, to Pierce and Helen (Fraser) Buechele. The family moved to west Michigan around 1946, eventually living in Muskegon, where Sharron would remain for the rest of her life. In 1955 she married Gary H. Neal, and they had two children. Sharron was an avid reader and she seldom turned down a chance to go to a casino. She had just spent a few days this month in Traverse City with her dear friend of many years, Janice Meyers, where they had a great time at the slots and being together. Sharron will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her smile. Above all else, Sharron loved her family more than anything in the world. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great-grandchild in two months. We will all make sure that he knows all about his Great-Nana. Sharron is survived by her son, Gary T. (Chris McGuigan) Neal of Muskegon and her daughter, Kyle (Mike) Dykman of Lake Orion; her grandchildren, Catherine Neal, Nick (Alicia) Dykman, Alex (Dan) Moore, and Kyle Neal; her great grandson “Baby Boy” Dykman; a very special niece, Heather (Kirk) Olsen, two sisters, Gail Scott and Pat Teall along with many family and friends who loved her, including her constant companion for about 17 years - her cat, Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her friend and ex-husband Gary H. Neal. The family plans to have a celebration of Sharron’s life in the future. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Sharron’s name may do so to Heaven Can Wait cat rescue in Muskegon.
