Sheila M. Medendorp's Obituary
Mrs. Sheila M. Medendorp, age 86, passed away peacefully Monday, July 19, 2021 at her home in Florida. She was born on August 18, 1934 to Robert and Geraldine (Eacker) in Muskegon. Sheila married Merlin “Rusty” Medendorp and they moved to Florida in the 70’s. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2013. Sheila is survived by her children, Randy (Naomi) Medendorp, Kevin (Amy) Medendorp, and Mistie Medendorp; grandchildren, Beau Medendorp, Rusty (Kristin) Medendorp, Griffin Medendorp, and Emily Medendorp; great-grandchildren, Anna, Abby, Becca, and Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Rusty, Sheila was also preceded in death by her son, Brian Medendorp and brother, Dave (Dixie) Sedgley. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 4:00 PM at Wolf Lake United Methodist Church. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service, from 3-4PM at church.
