Shelly (Zerlaut) Cook's Obituary
Shelly D (Zerlaut) Cook, age 50, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 after a year long courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 30, 1969 in Muskegon to Robert W. Zerlaut and Chery (Zerlaut) Coon, where she was a lifelong resident. Shelly graduated from Oakridge High School and later went on to Baker College to study accounting. She had many interests. She loved doing search a word books and different crafts, especially with her granddaughter Mila. Shelly had a forever young spirit and a very big heart. She loved animals with a passion. There was one special dog named Gemma, who she rescued when she was only a few weeks old. Shelly is survived by her mother, Cheryl Coon (Dan), her brother Ryan Coon of Florida; 4 sons, Robert, AJ, Bobby and Cody; 5 Grandchildren, Emma, Bryce, Mila, Aryanna and Rory; former spouse, Bobby Cook and step-mother, Jennifer Zerlaut of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert. Her family surprised her on her 50th birthday with a celebration of life party. She was loved by many and will be missed, but never forgotten.
