Every summer, Sherry and I walked through the woods to the dunes on Lake Michigan near her home. We walked on the beach, putting our feet in the water and then headed to the top of the dunes. Frequently, we brought refreshments and would sit for a few hours, enjoying Lake, Michigan’s beauty, the warmth of the sun, visiting, having worship and praying for our loved ones and for each other.
For several years, Sherry sent me links to the sermons that she was watching every Sabbath. We texted frequently and called each other often.. One of my favorite memories is her 60th birthday at our home!
Sherry loved deeply. She brought so much joy. Her laughter was contagious. She was so important to our family. The loss of her presence is immeasurable.

Sherry was incredibly family oriented. She loved deeply. She brought so much joy and her laughter was contagious. She was so important to our family. She is loved dearly. The loss of her presence in our lives is indescribable.
