Sherry L. Widing's Obituary
Sherry Lee Widing, age 73, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Sherry was born in Muskegon on July 21, 1952, to William and Eleanor (Shaffer) Widing in Muskegon. She lived her whole life in the Muskegon area, working as a waitress and bartender at various establishments over the years.
Sherry enjoyed crafting, baking, cooking, and taking care of her many houseplants. She was a smart, caring woman who loved her family. She liked doing things her way, and if she wanted to do something she would do it. She loved listening to music and lately had been attending Church of God United in Muskegon.
Sherry is survived by her two children: Amy West and William (Shanna) Church; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters: Susan Bentley and Julie Widing; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: William, Thomas, and Steven Widing.
