Sherry Ann (Luce) Hannum's Obituary
Ms. Sherry Ann (Luce) Hannum, age 49, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at her home. She was born April 7, 1961 in Muskegon, MI to and Ralph and Lucille (Eldred) Luce and lived her entire life in the Muskegon area. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for area agencies and nursing homes. She is survived by 1 brother, Rod (Linda) Luce of Cadillac; 1 sister, Deborah (Dale) Connell of Muskegon; special friend, Laura DeGroot of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, Scott (Dawn) Humy, Russ (Lehua) Luce, Sonya Humy, Laura (Tim) Ropposch. Sherry was an honorary mother and grandmother to April and Jay Genson and their children Samantha, Allison, and Mason. Sherry loved animals, especially her pet boxer, "Angel". She was preceded in death by her parents; and her former spouse, Bruce Hannum. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, May 27, 2010 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue (231) 726-5210 with Pastor Julie Winklepleck officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Chase Township Cemetery. VISITATION with Sherry’s family will be one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Thursday.
