Mrs. Shiela Renee Schulte's Obituary
Mrs. Shiela Reneé Schulte, age 49, loving wife and mother, passed away Tuesday, December 09, 2014 in Muskegon after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Muskegon on January 9, 1965 to Robert and Susan (Shelkey) Smith. Shiela was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Spring Lake and had worked as a Noon Mom at Fruitport Public Schools. She enjoyed camping, cooking and knitting, but most of all, she enjoyed being a Mom. Shiela was the pillar of her family and loved every part of being a Mom. She enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events and school activities, and most recently was able to watch her sons win back to back State Championships in Football. On December 16, 1994, Shiela married Gregory M. Schulte in Grand Rapids and he survives her, along with their three children, Kayleigh Renee Schulte, Jacob Robert Schulte and Andrew Kip Schulte; her parents, Robert and Susan Smith and one sister, Tami Smith. A MEMORIAL MASS will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Spring Lake with Rev. Fr. David Gross presiding. MEMORIALS may be made to Kayleigh, Jacob and Andrew’s Education Fund c/o Gregory Schulte at Fifth Third Bank.
