Shirley A. Brown's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley A. (Walker) Brown, age 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2016, knowing her Lord and Savior was waiting for her. She was born September 24, 1935 to Raymond and Dorothy (Saloan) Walker. Shirley was the cherished wife of 57 years to the late Harold Brown Jr.; devoted mother of Cheryl (Randy) Nicholson, Joe E. Brown, Jennifer Ann Brown and Edward Cody Brown (deceased); proud and loving grandmother to Nathan (Lisa), Jennifer, Nicholas (Heather), Shawn (Lindsay), Nora and Shannon (Dustin). One of her greatest joys was being with her great-grandchildren, Cali, Perry, Allison, Ella, Jack, Lillian, Sam and sweet little baby, Libby. She is also survived by her loving sister, Norma (Bob) Carter and was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Shirley was loved by her church family from Calvary Memorial Church and her special friend, Val Cilla. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Calvary Memorial Church, 909 E. Giles Rd. with Pastor Jeff Dunn officiating.
