Shirley Cunningham's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Cunningham, age 76, of Muskegon passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Alabama. She was born February 8, 1943 in Muskegon to Cecil and Lillian (Furnow) Wood. On March 20, 1959 she married George Cunningham and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2018.
As a military wife for over 20 years she followed her husband around the world. Her favorite places in all of their travels was living in Colorado and Germany. Prior to retirement she worked at Don Rea VFW as the Bar Manager. She loved to read anything written by James Patterson and sharing those with her friend Pam.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie (Bill) Ducharme of Madison, Alabama; three grandchildren: Kayla, Karley, and Rudy III Flores; sisters, Sandy (Bill) Huston, and Sharon Wood and brother, James (Pam) Wood; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
