Shirley Mae Hall's Obituary
Shirley Mae Hall, age 91, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019. She was born October 26, 1928 in Muskegon to Otto and Nellie (Schroeder) Neumann. On November 1, 1947, she married Fred Hall in Muskegon. They had two children: Linda Phelps and Terry Hall. Shirley worked for Dresser Crane and Hoist for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing BINGO and watching the Detroit Tigers and NASCAR. But most importantly, she loved her family and friends. SURVIVORS include her son, Terry (Shirley L.) Hall; grandchildren: Steven Hall, Melissa (Ed) Macheta, and Cheri (Rich) Archambault; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marion Neumann; brothers-in-law: Billy W. Hall and George S. Hall; many nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Elwanda Moody. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years, Fred; daughter, Linda Phelps; and her siblings. According to Shirley’s wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
