Shirley Mae Hulett's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Mae Hulett, age 82, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019. She was born on September 10, 1936 to Glade and Marguerite (Paquin) Moore in Muskegon. On September 11, 1954, she married Joseph L. Hulett Sr. Shirley was a nurse’s aide, teacher’s aide, and worked for seniors at Newaygo County and Newaygo Facility in Fremont, MI. Over the years she enjoyed caring for the sick seniors. She also was a crossing guard under the Sherriff’s Department and a member of Lakewood Club Civic Builders and RSVP of Muskegon. Shirley enjoyed being around all her friends, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Shari (Paul) George; sons, Joseph Hulett Jr, Stefan (Lynn) Hulett and Stacy Hulett; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren with one more on the way; sisters, Betty Hodge and Connie Kiggins; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Moore; and brother-in-law, Leo Bordeaux Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Donald Hulett and Jeffery Hulett Sr; sister, Ruth Bordeaux; brother, Glade Moore; granddaughter, Kristi Hulett; and brother-in-law, Roy Kiggins. Per Shirley’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
