Shirley Ann Robart's Obituary
Shirley Ann Robart, age 72, passed away on September 4, 2024. Shirley was born to Alvin and Jean
(Hickman) Hewitt on March 16, 1952, in Muskegon Michigan. She attended and graduated from
Orchard View High School. Shirley worked for Perrigo in pharmaceutical packaging in Montague
Michigan for 18 years prior to her retirement. Shirley married her husband Joe Robart on July 29, 2003 and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2006. Shirley was an avid crafter, enjoying crocheting, sewing, and quilting. She made many quilts and crocheted crafts for her family whom she adored. Shirley enjoyed watching football and basketball, especially when her grandsons were playing. She was never one to miss a Michigan State or Lions game, once the game was on she wasn’t going anywhere. Shirley will be missed by her daughter Jodi (Duncan) Allen; grandsons: Preston (Carly) Kahl, Braeden Kahl, Korbyn Kahl, Ayden Vanderkooi, Brycen Vanderkooi, and Colton Vanderkooi; great-grandsons: Caden and Walker; siblings: Larry Hewitt Sr., Dick (Pam) Hewitt, Charlene (Gene) Murak, Nancy (Lonnie) Anderson, and Debbie Blodgett; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Joe Robart; daughter Jennifer Kahl; parents Alvin and Jean (Hickman) Hewitt; sister-in-law Noreen Hewitt; and brother-in-law Bud Blodgett.
