Shirley May Rozycki's Obituary
Shirley May Rozycki, age 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born on March 8, 1948 to James and Irene (Skipski) Rozycki in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Shirley graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central and earned her Associate’s Degree in Business from Muskegon Community College. Shirley co-owned and worked at Wcislo’s Meat Market with her brother, Jim. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic church and enjoyed rose gardening with her mother, cooking for friends and family, and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Shirley is survived by her siblings, Dan (Sharon) Rozycki, Jim Rozycki (Peggy Essenberg), Dorene (Chris) Mulcahy, and Ruth Pasco (George Ruthkoski); and many nieces and nephews. She also had a special place in her heart for the Dr. Craig Elliott Family. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Don Pasco. Shirley’s siblings would like to give a very special thanks to their cousins, Rosemary Klemp and Ken Babcock for all the support, love, and care they gave Shirley over these past several years. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00AM, Monday, October 18 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1716 6th St., Muskegon, 49441) with Fr. Charles Hall presiding.
