Shirley May Sidock's Obituary
Shirley May Sidock, age 82, passed away Saturday morning, December 2, 2017. She was born July 21, 1935 in Muskegon to John and Lucille (Johnson) Sidock. Shirley worked for S.D. Warren for 39 years prior to retiring. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and the S.D. Warren Retirees Group. Shirley was a hard worker, enjoyed cooking, playing games, traveling, and spending time at her cabin up north, but most of all, loved being surrounded by her family. SURVIVORS include her son, Don (Angie) Sidock of Norton Shores; 2 grandchildren: Courtney and Wyatt Sidock; brother, Stan (Carolyn) Sidock of Norton Shores; sister-in-law, Barb Sidock of Norton Shores; many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica; parents; 2 brothers: John and Joe Sidock; 3 sisters: Betty Dowdy, Pearl McKay, and Emily Damm. SERVICES for Shirley will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Pastor Steve Derdowski officiating. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens at a later date. MEMORIALS to the Harbor Hospice Foundation will be appreciated.
