Shirley Stevenson, age 86, of Muskegon passed away Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born May 10, 1928 to Ralph and Alice Hardenburgh. Shirley loved to go bowling and taking trips to the casino to play bingo. While she lived in F Read Obituary
Aunt Shirley is one of my fondest memories from childhood. I know without a doubt I got my love of shopping from her :) Although we lost touch over the years, she has always been in my thoughts. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful pictures - she was a very special lady.

I am saddened to learn of your sweet mom passing from view but know there is more then here.
Shirley loved life and people and enjoyed every day. She had that wonderful polish sense of humor and was fun to be around.
My husband Joe Phelps was a cousin to dear Shirley and his mother Alice Miszewski Phelps was a sister to Shirley's mom Agnes Miszewski Hardenberg and an aunt to Shirley.

As Rita can attest, Shirley and my Mother were in the hospital at the same time when I and Rita were born, April 24th and 25th. My Mother and Father were friends with the Stevenson's and Rita and I worked together at Meijers for many years. Then in this small world, I became a Busdriver for Lifecircles, and got to see Shirley all the time. I even had her on my bus from time to time. She always knew who I was and always asked about my Mother. Although Shirley was a challenge for some she never was for me and always a joy. Shirley you will be missed, but never forgotten. I am part of a church group that goes to Christian Care on Tuesday night, I met Shirley there and got to know her a little , she was quite the gal, always taking to me about her kids and grandkids. She was a lovely person and I will miss playing Bingo with her.May God bless her and all her family.
