Shirley Elaine Stickney's Obituary
Shirley Elaine Stickney age 87, of Ravenna, MI died Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Woodland Garden Assisted Living in Spring Lake.
Shirley was born on March 20, 1935 in Ravenna, MI to the late Edward and Lillian (Pietila) Niva. She married Richard Gale Stickney on April 28, 1962. She graduated Ravenna High School in 1953. She worked for Teledyne Continental Motors from 1953 until March 1991 when she retired. She enjoyed boating in Lake Michigan, Camping in the Upper Peninsula and working in her flower garden growing big dahlia flowers.
She is survived by her Husband of 60 years Richard G. Stickney of Ravenna. 1 Brother: Glen Niva of Muskegon and Nephew and Care giver: Michael (Annette Aldridge) Niva of Muskegon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2:00pm at Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastor Dave Selleck officiating. Burial will follow at Moorland Township Cemetery.
The family will greet friends on Friday 1 hour prior to the service.
