Shirley Ann Traxler's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Ann Traxler, age 75, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 26, 2011. She was born February 3, 1936 in Grant, MI to Lawrence and Ruth (Cavendar) Homrich. Mrs. Traxler was a 1954 graduate of Grant High School and furthered her education at Western Michigan University. She worked for over 20 years for Kmart before retiring and was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Ruthann (Steven) Baker of Hart, Craig (Sandra) Traxler of North Muskegon; and a granddaughter, Lindsie Traxler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvirty G. “Bert” Traxler, Sr.; 3 sons, Lawrence H. Traxler, Bryan J. Traxler, and Alvirty G. “Al” Traxler, Jr. According to her wishes, there will be no services. MEMORIALS to the American Red Cross will be appreciated.
