Shirley J. Siegel's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley J. Siegel, age 82, passed away Saturday evening, August 1, 2009 at her home. She was born July 23, 1927 to Ira and Emma (Castle) Webster in Ionia, and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. Shirley worked as a cook for the Fruitport Schools for 20 years before retiring. On November 10, 1950 she married Edward Siegel; he preceded her in death in 1980. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, James Siegel of Muskegon, Richard (Elizabeth) Siegel of Shelby; 2 grandchildren, Julie Craymer, Jordan Siegel, both of Muskegon; 1 great-granddaughter, Kayley Craymer; 2 sisters, Nancy (Stanley) Kuncaitis of St. Louis, MO, Jean Crawford of Mt. Clemens; 1 sister-in-law, Arlene Webster of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Cecil and Marvin Webster. At Shirley’s request and direction, there will be no services.
