Shirley L. Lund's Obituary
Mrs. Shirley L. Lund, age 79, passed away early Christmas Eve morning at the Harbor Hospice-Poppen Residence following a brief illness. Shirley was born in Muskegon on February 8, 1929 to Mack and Mary (Kopacki) Falony and was a 1946 graduate of Muskegon Heights H.S. She was an administrative assistant at C.W.C. for 35+ years, retiring in 1990. Shirley enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, reading, working in the yard, dancing with Bob and spending time with her family. On May 28, 1949, she married Mr. Bobby E. Lund in Muskegon and he survives her, along with: nieces, Lynne (Larry) Osborn of Muskegon and Heather (Eric) Sturr of Norton Shores; and a nephew, Brian (Nancy) Falony of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Albert Falony in 1994. An Open House celebrating her life will be held at the home of her niece, Heather Sturr, 2276 S. Hilltop Dr. Norton Shores, Sunday, 1-3 P.M. Memorial Contributions: Harbor Hospice.
