Rich, Sophia and Adele, please know it breaks my heart to hear about Sonya' s passing. I met your mother for the 1st time about 3 years ago. I was at Elizabeth's Hair Salon. Your mother and I hit it off and we couldn't quit talking. I still can hear her laugh and her saying, WE ARE LIKE A LONG LOST COUSINS! Just from that one meeting and her shining personality and I knew she was an amazing person. You are all in our prayers!
With Love, Ron & Joan Daugherty
Sonya and I completed her final appointment together today. I will be bringing her home shortly so she can be with us once again.

I am struggling to find words to express how sad I am at the loss of such an incredible vivacious woman like Sonya. I have so many fond memories of PTA meetings at WMAAA, school parties/field trips, luncheons, days at the beach with our girls and even just our one on one visits. There were always so many laughs, I will cherish each and every one! To all of her family I am so sorry for your loss, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!
Sonya always had a smile! Her zest for life, family and friends was amazing; a beautiful person inside and out. I remember fondly our days at Reid together. Lunches at Flamingo's and the spark that soon took off between you two! Our hearts are deeply saddened and love and prayers are sent to the entire family. Rich know we are thinking of you and the girls now and in the many days ahead. Angela & Jim
Sonya was such a blessing to WMAAA! My heart goes out to your family. Another beautiful person taken too soon. All my love, Mrs. Feenstra

Your family is a special part of our summers in Boyne. Sonya will be deeply missed. Hugs and prayers to Rich and the girls and all of Sonya's family. Joe and Joni Andary
I met Sonya in high school, we were friends at MCC, and I enjoyed bumping into her around town in more recent years. She was always a friendly, kind person to all, and had a gift for making people feel comfortable and included. She will be missed. I’m incredibly sorry for your loss.
