Mr. Spencer C. Elliott, age 63, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 5, 2003. He was born October 16, 1939 in Muskegon to Alton and Gladys (Spencer) Elliott and had been a life resident. Mr. Elliott was a graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He worked at various manufacturing plants, but had worked the past five years at Pridgeon and Clay in Grand Rapids. Mr. Elliott loved to hunt, and had been a member, and past president, of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. On August 26, 1961 he married the former Lona “Jane” Clark in Muskegon, and she survives him along with 2 children, Cheryl (Chris) Latsch of Whitehall and David (Liz) Elliott of Allendale; 3 grandchildren, Chris, Cory, and Chelby Latsch; brother, Dale (Lois) Elliott of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Eleanor (Ernest) Parrish of Winter Haven, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Elliott; sister, Adeline Woodward; and father-in-law, Harvey Clark. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Thursday at
