Stanley J. Strach Jr.'s Obituary
Stanley J. Strach Jr., age 58, passed away Friday December 11, 2020. He was born January 18, 1962 in Muskegon to Stanley J. and Balbina “Belle” (Barr) Strach and was affectionately known by the family as “Todd”. Stan graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1980 and also graduated from Muskegon Business College with an Associates Degree. He worked 28 years for J.C. Penny and then ABC Warehouse for 5 years. On September 18, 1987, he married the former Diana Lee Sorensen in Muskegon. Stan was a Christian and a member of the Cedar Creek Alliance Chapel. He was a proud American, loved frequenting thrift stores, and was an avid collector of Sci Fi and Detroit sports memorabilia. Stan is survived by his wife, Diana; 2 daughters: Courtney and Brittany Strach; 3 sisters: Agnes Strach, Barbara Kurburski, and Kathy (Rick) Reasoner; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Stan’s Life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2021 (his birthday) at the Cedar Creek Alliance Chapel (7193 Sweeter Rd., Twin Lake, MI 49457) with Pastor Randy Blanchette officiating.
