Starr Evans Rico's Obituary
Starr Evans “Bunny” Rico, age 66, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024. She was born February 28, 1958, in Muskegon to Bernard J. and Wilma J. (Davey) Evans. Starr graduated from Perris High School in Perris, CA and earned her associate’s degree from Muskegon Community College in Child Bereavement. On August 8, 1988, she married Randall Adam Rico in Las Vegas, NV. Starr’s passion in life was genealogy and art. She had a heart of gold and a strong Christian faith, and occasionally loved to sing Christian music with Randall. But most of all, she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to whom she was like a second mother. SURVIVORS include her husband, Randall of Ravenna; four children: Amy Louise (Steven) Canup, Josh Rico, John Rueben Martinez, and Jacob Christian Rico; five grandchildren: Stevie, Corinna, Nathan, Kobe, and Karter; five brothers: Kenneth James Knoll, Larry Glenn (Peggy) Evans, Bernie Eugene Evans, Teddy Rueben Evans, and Eddie Dean Evans; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant children: Grace Angelique Rico and Abelino Rico; brother, Gary Leroy Evans; and a sister-in-law, Donna Knoll. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE for Starr will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2024 at Moorland Twp. Cemetery.
