Stefanie A. Buchholz's Obituary
Stefanie Anna Buchholz (nee’ Weber), age 99, passed away on August 24, 2024, in her daughter, Anette’s home. Born on August 8, 1925, in Romania, she was the youngest of seven children. Steffi was a loving and devoted wife to her one true love, Gerhardt (Jerry) who passed in 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings. She was a loving and giving mother of her three children who she leaves behind: Peter (Sue); sons Geoff and Shawn (Emily); their children Elli and Asher, Claus (Janet); their children Sarah and Nik, and Anette (Mark-deceased). Her life was a testament to her selflessness, giving nature, and endless love for her family. She, her husband and son Peter were brought over from Germany to Muskegon in 1956 by Immanuel Lutheran Church. She began her first job as a seamstress at Hardy-Herpolsheimer’s, Grossman’s and then worked her way up to store manager at Fabrific, Needlewoman, and Catherine’s. She was a loyal and very hard-working person, and everything had to be just perfect! Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. In remembrance of Steffi’s compassionate spirit and loving heart, contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice of Muskegon, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. FUNERAL SERVICE will be Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Lee Chapel, 6291 Harvey St. Muskegon, MI., 49444 with refreshments following in the Family Center.
