Ms. Stephanie Sharon Lakatos' Obituary
Ms. Stephanie Sharon Lakatos, age 35, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born February 2, 1983 to Alex and Delphine (Bodus) Lakatos in Muskegon. Stephanie was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and a life member of VFW 8846 Ladies Auxiliary. She graduated from Wesley School in 2009. Stephanie was a joy, with a great sense of humor, who enjoyed kidding around. She loved laughter, music, and people and was much loved by everyone in her life. Stephanie is survived by her loving parents; her grandmother, Theresa Petrowski; step brother, Tim Panzl; sister, Rhonda Sue Lakatos; 2 nephews, Christopher and Joseph; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peter and Mary Lakatos; and grandfather, Edwin Petrowski; special Aunts, Ronnie, Mary and Erma; and Great Aunt Belle. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 E. Summit Ave., with Rev Fr. Antony Britto presiding. VISITATION will be Wednesday afternoon May 2, from 4-7 PM at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave, 231-726-5210, and one hour prior to the Mass (10-11 AM) at church. Interment will be in Laketon Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be for Stephanie’s cemetery monument fund.
