Stephanie Elizabeth Plotkin's Obituary
Stephanie Elizabeth Plotkin, age 35, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Grand Haven. Stephanie graduated with a degree in English from Grand Valley State University and had begun her substitute teaching locally, where she loved her students. Stephanie was an avid reader and provided publishers and authors professional reviews on their works. She loved books and was an accomplished literary blogger. Her blog and Twitter following numbered in the thousands. Her blog had recently been selected as one of the thirty top Young Adult Book Blogs on the web by Feedspot. Stephanie was a kind, compassionate, and caring person who was loved dearly by her family. She is survived by her parents, Casiane Lambert and Clayton Plotkin, her sister, Carrie Hollstein, and her brothers, Matthew Dylan, Vaughn and Drezden Plotkin. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, at Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services – The VanZantwick Chapel with Rev. Charles Schwartz officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery.
