Neal Family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Steve was my boss at Burlington Coat Factory from 2008-2011 and I learned invaluable people/customer service skills from him and actually if I had not handed my application to Steve the day that I turned it in I probably would not have had the pleasure of working under him. I am so blessed to have had such a dedicated and motivated superior who absolutely LOVED his store and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

As I sit here with tears in my eyes, I think back to the times we were all together for one reason or another. The laughter is the most memorable. Pranks on each other were common. Steve, thank you for being the only one who could make countless trips to the liquor store so the rest of us could continue our partying without being arrested!! You certainly had some patience with us!! Cousins never spend as much time together as they should, however, I am so thankful to my parents, for making sure we KNEW who our cousins were. Gods speed to you Steve, and may God and his angels keep your family in their arms of protection throughout this difficult time. Sue, Doc, Jamie and Josh, I am there in heart with you. As much as over the last year and change i've watch my dad fight for every moment. I watched him let down his guard and let himself be a complete goof more and more each day. I left it with 2 amazing memories. His urge to fight the uncontrollable and his undieing love for my mother. Who else right after a surgery goes wrong would ask for his index card of phone numbers and start work on plan B calling all the insurance and etc people to make sure my mom and sammy are taken care of when he is gone. Let alone the fact that he looked Doc and I in the eyes and told us to take care of mom for him. That simply blew me away. Lastly when we were putting in his sprinkler pump after we had it all prepped and ready to go. Him being a joker he had me take the top off of it after we had it all set and soked us both. Just so he could say "thats why u dont take that off, it's a fountain"... By dad love you

I find it dificult to pick one memory to share as there are so many! From the crazy camping trips, to sitting out on the deck in the summer and having Uncle Steve in the stands at our softball games! I will however always remember the 4 colored pen always clipped to the neck of his shirts, the pointed tube of Chapstick and never being able to get out of the house without a kiss (which he would always have to lick his lips first!). I am so lucky to have spent so much time an made so many memories with my dear uncle! In his mind Avery's middle name will always be Stephen! I love and miss him, and very lucky to get a kiss hours before he passed (even of he didn't lick his lips first!)! Love you Uncle Steve, thank you for all the great memories!
