Stephen J. "Steve" Zawlocki's Obituary
Mr. Stephen J. Zawlocki, 53, beloved Son, Brother, Father and “Papa”, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 at Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. Born July 25, 1956 to Laurence and Lois (Terbeek) Zawlocki, he was a life resident of Muskegon. Steve was employed as a fabricator at Knoll Group until six years ago. His SURVIVORS include his daughters: Shelly (Kurt Mueller) Terryn of No. Muskegon and Wendy (Joel) VanderPloeg of Muskegon; a son, Kyle Zawlocki of Ravenna; his mother, Lois Zawlocki of Muskegon; five grandchildren: Austin Terryn, Nichelle Hulka, Caleb Hulka, Bridgette Mueller and Logan Mueller; brothers: Tom (Nancy) Zawlocki, Dan (Tana Barrow) Zawlocki and Larry (Mary) Zawlocki all of Muskegon and Mike (Pam) Zawlocki of Georgia; his sister, Kathy (Ron) Barrett of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Laurence. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Mr. Zawlocki will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49441; phone (231)-798-1100 with Rev. Fr. Phillip A. Sliwinski officiating. VISITATION with the family will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
