Steve Cain's Obituary
Steve Cain, age 73, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022. He was born January 16, 1949, in Grand Haven, Michigan, to Alvin and Mary (Kalakerakas) Cain. After high school, he became a transport driver and spent close to 40 years hauling propane and bottled gas for Ottawa LP Gas. On March 22, 1968, Steve married Sally Zacharias and they would enjoy their time together by taking trips, either with their RV or on their motorcycle riding with friends. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to head out on the fishing boat with Sally tagging along. Steve had a deep love for his family. Steve will be missed by his wife, Sally; son John (Andrea) Cain; grandchildren, Shelby and Trevor Cain; his sisters, Marion Marshall and Carol Thompson; and sister-in-laws, Mary Frazier, Sharon (Jim) Mirkel, Linda Gray and Kay (William) Foster. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-laws, Patrick Marshall, Larry Thompson, Daniel Zacharias; and sister-in-law Donna Craigmile. A private Memorial Gathering has been conducted.
