Steve P. Okerlund's Obituary
Steven Paul Okerlund, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. He was born on April 25, 1958, to Carl and Joan (Schulz) Okerlund in Muskegon, MI. Steve worked as a truck driver throughout his career. He loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, time with his family, and especially trips to the cabin up north.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Robin Lager; children, Jamie Griswold, Mike (Melinda) Okerlund, Steve (Lisa) Lager, Sarah (Dan) Hansen; grandchildren, Trinity, Trenton, Lillian, Steven, Norah, Juliah, Gabriellah, Ceciliah, Jon, Joscelyn; siblings, John (Susan) Okerlund, Carol Okerlund; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jeff Okerlund.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Steve will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Olivet Evangelical Free Church (6790 Harvey Rd.) with visitation one hour prior to the service.
