Steve W. Robbins' Obituary
Steve W. Robbins, age 57, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 29, 2019. He was born September 3, 1962 in Muskegon to Lyle and Joyce (Wright) Robbins. Steve was a 1980 Fruitport High School graduate and worked for Bayer Crop Science/BASF for 37 years. He was an avid State of Michigan sports fan and was a Fruitport football fan and coach. Steve had a very distinct laugh, had a great sense of humor and was nominated class clown of his graduating class. He was a member of All Shores Wesleyan Church. SURVIVORS include two sons: Zachary (Emily) Robbins, Tyler Robbins; three grandchildren: Brayden, Chase, and Maverick; partner, Lori Scheffler; brother, Lyle (Nancy) Robbins; four sisters: Jan Stone, Evelyn Solis, Lori Robbins, and Donna Robbins; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steve was preceded in death by his parents. A CELEBRATION OF STEVE’S LIFE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 3, 2020 at All Shores Wesleyan Church (15550 Cleveland St., Spring Lake, MI 49456) with Pastor Thad Spring officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, January 2, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100.
