Steven Carl Broek's Obituary
Steven Carl Broek, age 61, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Steve was born on July 17, 1954 to John Jr. and Margaret Broek. In 1979 he married the former Nina Petty and together they enjoyed 36 years of marriage and 2 sons. He worked at Meijer for 32 years and then later in life at Amstore. His two greatest joys in life were camping with his family and his love of classic cars. He was a hardworking, funny man who will be deeply missed. Steve is survived by his wife Nina; sons, Steven and Jonathan (Tessa) Broek; brothers, Doug (Joan) and Paul Broek; sister, Helen Cyr; several nieces and nephews; close friends Roger and Marlene Presley; and his 4 legged companion Gracie. He was preceded in death by his parents. A PRIVATE SERVICE will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to Ludington State Park or Harbor Hospice in his name.
