Mr. Steven L. Burley's Obituary
Mr. Steven Burley, 81, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 3, 2017, in Muskegon. He was born June 1, 1936 to Otis M. and Blanche (Stitt) Burley in Muskegon, and grew up in the Holton area. Mr. Burley was a U.S. Army veteran, worked at CWC, owned a real-estate brokerage, and finished his career as a Muskegon Chronicle paper boy. He enjoyed long walks at Snug Harbor, bologna rides, working in his yard, and spending time with his puppies and family. On April 24, 1964 he married Judith Howe-Cross, and she survives him, along with 4 children, Chuck Cross, Nick DuShane, Steve (Michelle) Burley II, Cookie (Denny) Dyer; 7 grand and 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Nathan (Alberta) Burley; 4 sisters, Marlene Hudson, Joy (Al) Owens, Sarah Parsons, Cindy (Gary) Hunter; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Troy D. Burley; his parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. A time of sharing will begin at 2:00 PM Friday, December 8, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S.
