Steven Frederick Frietchen's Obituary
Steven Frederick Frietchen, age 64, of Nunica passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at home. He was born February 18, 1957, in Grand Haven to Fred Warren and Phyllis Lorraine (Camp) Frietchen.
Steve graduated from Spring Lake High School and worked as a screw machine mechanic. He loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Ivy (Ed Taylor) DeWitt; two grandchildren, Sophia and Eloise DeWitt; four sisters: Kathy (Dennis) Rice, Wanda Eckels, Georgianna “Gigi” (Tony) Green and Bonnie (Bryan) Swiftney; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his uncle, Arthur Gustafson and brother-in-law, Tom Eckels.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Spring Lake Cemetery with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating.
