Steven Wayne Gemmel's Obituary
Steven Wayne Gemmel, age 59, passed away at home on February 6, 2026. He was born on July 29, 1966, to Harry and Joyce (Hartle) Gemmel in Muskegon. Steve worked as a truck driver for over 25 years, carrying fuel and groceries, until his health started to decline. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, was a part of a motorcycle club, Local Teamsters 406, and enjoyed weekend rides to the UP. He also became very attached to the barnyard animals in the backyard. On April 25, 1987, he married Kathryn Pascoe, and she survives him along with two children, Brittany (Adam) Sherman and Brock Gemmel; 6 grandchildren, Bri, Connor, William, Lexi, and was proud to be raising Maci and Zoe; brother, Bryan (Donna) Gemmel; sister, Wendy (Tim) Fookes; mother-in-law, Joyce Pascoe and brother-in-law, Tommy Pascoe.
