Steven Jay Mulder's Obituary
Stephen Jay Mulder, 65, of Muskegon, Michigan passed away Sunday, May 19th at 2:20 AM with family in attendance. He was born April 25, 1959, in Muskegon, Michigan to Vernon W. Mulder and Mary Ann (Johnson) Mulder.
Steve graduated from Orchard View High School on June 1, 1978. He retired from Meijer after 26 years of service and also worked with the Muskegon County Parks Service for 17 years. He was the Santa for his apartment building, bringing happiness and smiles.
He is survived by his siblings, Elsa Mulder and Hanry Cevallos, Brad William and Angie, Barry Allen, Thomas Lee and Ruth. John Vernon and Ellen Mulder.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Timothy, Todd, Teresa McDaniel, Ronald, Shane and Scott Funderburg. Joe Mulder, Amy Jo Wright, Anita Greeno, Jeff Wiersema, Aaron and Jenny Mulder, Tressa Burns, Sara and Chris Christian. Johnny Broughan, Erick Mulder.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mary Mulder, his sister Carolyn Funderburg and nephew Kevin Mulder.
Steve was always his nieces and nephew’s favorite babysitter. He let them get away with all sorts of things. Steve’s lifelong hobby was his music and movies. His goal was to keep that family line of communication strong.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
