Steven Louis Pavlich's Obituary
Steven L. Pavlich, age 57, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017, after a short illness. He was born on June 29, 1959 to Anthony and Joyce (Capua) Pavlich in Muskegon. Steven worked for 38 dedicated years for Kendall Electric. He attended Fellowship Reformed Church. Steven was a very genuine and helpful person, going out of his way to help anyone who needed it. He was a loving brother and son who spent much time taking care of his parents. Steven enjoyed tending to his yard, camping with friends and family, vacationing in warmer climates, attending games and sporting events for his daughter’s high school and he was a great chef that loved cooking for his family and friends. The true love of his life was his daughter, Hannah, his “Bambino.” On April 19, 1995, he married the former Dana Hart, she survives him along with his daughter, Hannah Pavlich; siblings, Paul (Kelly) Pavlich, Cynthia (Paul) Whiteman, Lisa (Tony) Hartman; nieces and nephews, Nick, Jake, Liv, Annie, Shawn (Jamey), Shannon (Jason), Brandon, Desirae (Jordan), Chrissy, Linda (Ryan), who lovingly called him Uncle Peace; great nieces, Jaslyn, Chloe, Lilly; sister-in-law, Rhonda (Tony) Panozzo; mother-in-law, Dixie Hart; father-in-law, Donald Hart; and faithful companion, Abby. He was preceded in death by nephews, Christopher and Charlie. Steven was referred to as “the spice of the family.” VISITATION with the family will take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Fellowship Reformed Church (4200 Apple Ave.) at 6:00 PM with visitation and hour prior with Pastor Mike VanKampen presiding. In lieu of flowers donation’s in Steven’s name can be made to either Fellowship Reformed Church or a Scholarship Fund at Huntington Bank for Hannah Pavlich.
