Steven J. "Steve" Squire's Obituary
Steven J. “Steve” Squire, age 69, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 3, 1955, in Muskegon, MI to Will and Doreen (Olson) Squire, where he remained a lifelong resident. Steve was a proud graduate of Muskegon High School, Class of 1973. He worked as a machinist at Teledyne Continental Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 2015. Throughout his career, Steve’s dedication and work ethic earned him the respect of many. A passionate sports enthusiast, Steve found joy in both playing and following sports. He was also deeply engaged in politics, always eager to engage in lively debates with anyone willing to share their opinions. Steve will truly be missed. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Luckett) Riner; mother, Doreen Squire; grandchildren, Isabella and Blake Riner; sister, Susan (Tim) Hrynewich; brother, Dave Squire; niece, Hailey Hrynewich; and three nephews, Reed (Nishtha) Hrynewich, Kevin (Teresa) Squire and Ryan Squire. He was preceded in death by his father, Will Squire. Steven will be laid to rest at Lakeside Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W.
