Steven R. Tatro's Obituary
Steven Robert Tatro, age 76, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 in Holton, MI. He was born November 5, 1943 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Corwin and Helen (Christophersen) Tatro. Steve was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and served during Vietnam as a radio operator. He worked as an air traffic controller for 20 years, retiring from Grand Junction, Colorado in 1996. He also worked as a flight simulator trainer for Air Force pilots in San Antonio, Texas. On September 24, 1985, he married the former Brenda L. White in Montgomery, Alabama. Steve had a passion for flying, was an avid golfer, loved to play cards, backgammon, cribbage, shoot pool, listen to music, and go to the casino. He and his wife were inseparable and did most everything together as a couple. He will be missed greatly. SURVIVORS include his wife of 34 years, Brenda; niece, Michelle Andrews-Ploughman; and extended family, Mike and Cindy Curran and their sons: Patrick and Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rhonda Andrews. Private family services will be held. MEMORIALS to the Harbor Hospice Foundation of Muskegon, MI will be appreciated.
