Steven Lee "Steve" Cole III's Obituary
Mr. Steven Lee Cole III, age 24, passed away Sunday morning, August 29, 2010 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Steve was born on September 10, 1985 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was a self employed sub-contractor. Steve was the CMA of West Michigan Entertainer of the Year when he was only 5 years old. He continued his love of music by playing bass in the Dead Silent Orchestra Band (DSO). Steve loved his fiancee’, Sara Marie Hayes, and spending time with their children, Keeley and Ryleigh. He enjoyed working with technical devices, rebuilding computers and he loved his jeeps. Steve also rode a lot with Organ Donors Motorcycle Club and Great Lakes 4 x 4. He is survived by his fiancee’ Sara Hayes; daughters, Keeley Morgan Cole and Ryleigh Lynn Lodes; parents, Steven Lee Cole of Kent City, Kathy Jean (Cole) Russell of Muskegon, Helena Kay Josephus of Interlochen; grandparents, Gordon Russell of Muskegon, Robert and Louise Wellman of Kent City, and Pearl Pfund of Edmore; 3 brothers, Brandon Parott, Caleb Bower, and Joshua Bower, all in Interlochen; 6 sisters, Kristin (Doug) Coy, Tiffany Granvold, and Tina Granvold all of Traverse City, Kimberley (Kevin) Carey of Grand Rapids, Laurra (Jeff) Janeway of Vacaville, CA, and Wendy (Chris) Stover of Lisbon, OH; many aunts , uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Lee Cole II. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday September 3, 2010, at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Justin Thorton officiating. VISITATION will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Interment will be in Twin Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Keeley and Ryleigh’s education fund c/o PNC Bank.
