Mrs. Sue Carol Fierros' Obituary
Sue Carol Fierros (Davis) passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016, in her Norton Shores, Michigan home. Born February 25th, 1946, Sue was raised in Lakeside, Muskegon by mother Shirley Siewert (Crane), step-father Edgar and along with her siblings, Roger, Linda, Kathleen and Steven. Even in those days, Sue was known for her kindness, warmth and determination. These are qualities which would serve to define her life. In fact, from 1980-1985, as the greeter at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, many in the community came to know Sue as a friend. It was not uncommon for her children to receive compliments from other adults about their mother. Later in her career, Sue took her talents to Tiffany Woods apartments as a Leasing Agent where she also became a favorite of many residents. In 1974, Sue married the man who had become the love of her life, Rudy Fierros, of Muskegon. They joined her two children, Kelly and Todd from her first marriage with Mr. Fierros’ three children, Michael, Matthew and Tirza. To say the least, this created an interesting and very rewarding adventure for Sue. Later, she described this as the greatest accomplishment of her life as she contemplated how proud of her children she was. Sue’s five children have provided her with 14 grandchildren. Sue leaves behind life-long friends and countless acquaintances who have been blessed to know her. She carried herself with dignity and respected those who came her way. She humbly put others first. She was truly a good person and we miss her already. Sue is survived by her children, Kelly (Mark) Kinne, Michael (Sheri) Fierros, Matthew Fierros, Todd (Kathleen) Monroe, Tirza (Stephen) Fierros-Snuffer; grandchildren, Adam, Renee, Corey, Nathan, Rudy, Emilio, Mateo, Olivia, Riley, Jolee, Jayden, Braxton, Jillian and Graciela; mother, Shirley Siewert; brothers, Roger (Pat) Davis and Steven Siewert; sisters, Linda Siewert and Kathleen Sugar; nephew, Mike (Amy) Davis and Matt (Brenda) Davis; nieces, Lisa (John) Prominski, Lauren Isanhart, Katherine Zapala, Kim (Greg) Gable, Benjamin and Nina Sugar and Anne Sugar; and brothers-in-law, Richard (Connie) Fierros and Art (Roberta) Fierros. A time of remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11AM at Mona Shores Baptist Church 3800 Lake Harbor Rd, Norton Shores MI 49441.
