Sue Jozefek's Obituary
Sue Jozefek, age 88, passed away March 5, 2012 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. Born October 15, 1923 in Muskegon, she graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and attended Muskegon School of Business. She was employed in the Engineering Department at Bennett Pump for 35 years, retiring in 1978. She was a former member of Muskegon Heights Gospel Tabernacle for many years prior to moving to New Jersey in 2000. Survivors include one nephew, Edward (Diane) Barabas of Westfield, NJ and two nieces, Mildred (Michael) Sgambati of Madison, CT and Pearl (Freddy) Vinces of Hillsdale, NJ; grandnieces Kristina Barabas, Susan, Stephanie and Melissa Sgambati; grandnephew, Karsten Barabas and several great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna (Michael) Barabas in 1992 and a twin sister, Christine Jozefek in 1986. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 9, 2012 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231)798-1100, Rev. Kenneth Michnay officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mona View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation.
