Mrs. Sue Ellen Laban's Obituary
Mrs. Sue E. (Zmrzlik) Laban, age 46, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at Spectrum-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born November 9, 1965 in Grand Rapids to her birth father, Leslie and her mother, Carol who raised Sue with her husband, Claude DeGraff. Sue worked as a supply quality manager for L3 Communications-CPS the past 6 years. She married Joseph B. Laban on December 27, 2006 and he survives her. Sue loved her children and grandbabies. She loved spending time at the cabin being with friends and also enjoyed boating and fishing. She was involved with Da Hood of Baldwin. SURVIVORS include her husband, Joe; 3 children, Keith (Dustie) Zmrzlik of Holton, Kandis (Clint) Scott of White Cloud, Morgan Laban of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Karley Jo, Tucker, Austin, Gage; her mother, Carol DeGraff of Fremont; 1 brother, Chris (Renee) Haner of Flint; and 1 sister, Leslie (Matt) Burns of Bridgeton. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude DeGraff.
