Miss Sue, it's still hard to believe this is real, you were taken too soon. Thanks for always being there for me, thanks for the car rides, the food you bought me. The conversations and advice I'll never forget. Helping Kali and I get ready for dances from 6th grade to our freshman homecoming. Earlier I was thinking about the time when my mom was late to pick me up from the library. I told you that you could leave, but you insisted on waiting until I was picked up. You were such a caring person, I'll never forget that. You were so much more then just my friend's grandma, you were a friend to everyone you met. Love you and miss you, Natalie Dumbrell.
Sue, I miss you so much. We had dinner with Kali, Johnny and Kimmie tonight and told hilarious stories of you the entire time. The best story being the day Kali and I were at Taco Bell and you cake to pick up Kali. While we were waiting for my dad to get there, you scroll through your Facebook and find a picture of Kali holding up 2 watermelons and you simply say “Hey James, wanna see Kali’s melons!?” Iconic!!! Then following it up with “Oh that probably wasn’t a great idea to show you that in front of Kali.” Thank you for all of the great stories me and so many others have.
I was shocked to see this. Mark and family I am so sorry for your loss. We lived next door when you lived on 136th Ave. Sue and I shared a mutual love for the dollar store. I always enjoyed talking with her. She had a radiant personality and an contagious laugh that will be missed.
While I haven't seen Mark & Sue very often in recent years, I do recall getting together on many occasions in earlier days. One early memory was being at Mark & Sue's Wedding. Sue always seemed to be a very sweet and generous individual to me. She and I shared the same birthday (Nov. 23) and she was always very considerate & consistent in wishing me a Happy Birthday. I don't think I was as consistent as Sue, but I tried to be. Mark, I am so sorry for this loss for you and your family. Sue will be missed.
Mark and family, so very sorry to hear about Sues passing. I'll always remember and cherish her warm friendly smile and happy laughter! Sue could light up any place with her bright sense of humor and make things better. Our 4 boys have fond memories of Sue at Sunnybrook Country Club where she always treated them and everyone very nice! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family during this difficult time of loss. With deepest sympathy and sincere condolences, Tom, Laurie & family.
One of my favorite customers at DollarTree. Bork family, I am so sorry for your loss.
Mark, I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking to Sue back in the days of My Auto Import. I recently ran into her a few months back and she was the same vibrant, fast talking, full of energy, positive and fun person as I always remembered. You would never know she was fighting a battle. I know she’ll be missed greatly by her family and friends. Please know you and you family our in my prayers. 🙏
Dear Aunt Bev, Mark, Christopher, Kimberly and Kalianna, our hearts go out to you. Sue was such a beautiful person and a big part of all of our lives. She was always up. We will miss her smile and wacky humor and cherish the memories of all the fun times we spent with her. Loving thoughts are with you, Anne and Steve Parr
It was a shock to read about you. Although we have not seen each other in years, you were a part of my past. You were always so full of life and laughter. And then to know that you, Mark and family would come up to our favorite vacation spot (Pine Lake Villa). I always look forward to your mom's Christmas card. I will keep your family in my daily prayers and I feel confident that you are in a better place. Hope to see you Heaven when it's time!
