Susan Renee Cady's Obituary
Susan Renee Cady, age 63, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1959 in Muskegon to Edward J. and Marilyn J. (Rau) Cady and was a lifelong resident. Susan worked 15 years at Red Lobster Restaurant and later worked as an insurance agent before retirement. She was a former lifelong member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Susan was very generous with her time and was always willing to give what she could to help those in need. She had a tender heart for children who went without. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include 2 daughters, Melissa (Gary) Randles, Amanda (Troy) Sibley; 4 grandchildren, Grace and Bristen Randles, Dakota and Caleb Sibley; 1 great-grandson, Elijah Sibley; her sister, Carrie C. Cady; her brother, Daniel W. (Linda) Cady; her nephew, Michael E. Cady; her niece, Ashleigh (Kyle) Rieger; and 2 great-nephews, Remington and Ellingson Rieger. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael E. Cady. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 30, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Road) with Pastor Paul Appold officiating. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Thursday at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
