Susan Rae Grams' Obituary
Mrs. Susan Rae Grams, age 74, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, October 15, 2021. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 10, 1947 to Woodrow and Jane (Putnam) George. Susan was employed as a metallurgical technologist at Howmet/Alcoa prior to her retirement in 2020. She enjoyed reading, laughing and reminiscing with family and friends. On January 20, 1979, Susan married William J. Grams and he preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by four children, Jennifer (Dave England) Wygle, Bill (Devonee) Grams, Bob Grams, and Julie (Chris) Kemp; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and “sister” cousin, Ann Scott. In addition to her husband Bill, Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Wygle; and grandson, William Quist. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. MEMORIALS in memory of Sue may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. Burial will be in Twin Lake Cemetery.
