Susan Bertine "Susie" Horton's Obituary
Susan Bertine “Susie” Horton, age 68, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021. She was born June 4, 1952 in Muskegon to Harold and Bertine (Meyers) Fowler. In her early years, Susie enjoyed being a waitress and server. She loved to cook, go fishing, gardening, and being outdoors. She was a very competitive person, especially in her bowling and pool leagues. Susie also loved playing cards and board games; her favorite game was Aggravation. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Melissa Sue Horton of Muskegon; sisters: Kristy Fowler of Whitehall and Kim Fowler of Dalton Twp.; brother, Bill Fowler of Muskegon; Melissa’s father, David Horton of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ruth Ann Deter. Susie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy Willett; and in-law’s, Lyle and Sharon Horton. According to Susie’s wishes, there will be no services.
