Mrs. Susan Lea Keglovitz's Obituary
Mrs. Susan Lea Keglovitz, age 55, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on June 18, 1959 to William H. and Waneta Mae (Moore) Homan. Sue was employed by Fruitport Community Schools for the past 16 years where she worked as a supporting secretary for the special education department for four school districts. She truly loved her school community where she was active in many different programs, and will be remembered for her positive attitude, her helpful nature, and the smile she always had on her face. Sue was a member of Berean Church where she was active with youth ministry. She enjoyed gardening, Friday afternoon pool parties with her girlfriends, and she loved her dog, Zoey. Most importantly, Sue loved her family, especially time spent with her grandchildren. On August 28, 1982, Susan married her high school sweetheart, Steven Mark Keglovitz, and he survives her along with their three sons, Damien Michael (Toni) Keglovitz, Nicholas Steven (Kimberly) Keglovitz and Tyler James (Caitlin Alviar) Keglovitz; two grandchildren, Leila Marley and Anders Douglas; her mother, Waneta Mae Homan; one sister, DeLynn Mae (John) DeWind; special cousin, Nancy Moore; special friend, Cheryl Clarke; and numerous loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, William Michael Homan. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Monday, July 28, 2014 at Berean Church (635 Seminole Rd., Norton Shores, MI 49441) with Rev. Rick Pilieci officiating. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday, July 27, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. Burial will be in Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be made to Caraway Mission in Tanzania or to Sue’s family.
