Susan J. Lambrix's Obituary
Susan J. Lambrix, age 74, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born March 5, 1946 in Hart, MI to Raymond W. and Marilyn J. (Cavanaugh) Lambrix and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. Susan was a member of the graduating Class of 1964 at Reeths-Puffer High School. She worked over 30 years in administration at Mercy Hospital and retired as a billing clerk. Susan always thought of others and would send cards for any occasion to the ones she loved – whether it be a birthday card, get well card, anniversary card, etc. She was an avid Disney fan and a collector of Precious Moments figurines. Susan enjoyed attending the many sporting events of her grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, whom she loved and adored. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her son, Chris (Marlys) Brooks; 6 grandchildren, Logan Brooks, Drew Brooks, Maralyn Brooks, Brad Harz, Lydia Harz, Max Harz; 1 brother, Tom Lambrix; 2 sisters, Pat (Tom) Peterson, Kim (Irwin) Turgeon; and her many loving nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Paula Lambrix. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Sunday, November 1, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Service, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. A private graveside service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
