Susan Kay Marshall's Obituary
Susan Kay Marshall (Howe) of Spring Lake passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 59 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. Sue was born on January 28, 1962 to Gordon and Marilyn Disselkoen in Spring Lake and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Spring Lake High School in 1980. Sue is survived by her Husband Rockland (Rocky) Marshall, Rocky’s brother Tom Marshall, Rocky’s children, Tony (Heidi) Marshall, Andrea Marshall, and Amanda (Freddy) Olvera, and his grand children; Her two children MacKenzie (Joe) Hall and Alex (Chelsea) Howe and her Granddaughter Ella Grace; Her mother and father Marilyn and Gordon Disselkoen; Her sisters Sandy (Steve) Khodl and Shelly (Wayne) Jones along with several nieces and nephews. Sue’s passion was her children, cooking amazing homemade meals, and spending time with friends. Sue loved and accepted everyone without a second thought and was always willing to help where she could. Sue will be missed dearly. We plan on having a celebration of life in the near future. Instead of flowers, the option of donating to either Habitat for Humanity or donating to an education fund for Sue’s Granddaughter, Ella Grace, will be greatly appreciated.
